ABOUT US
The Bayou City Ballet Youth Company is a performing group made up of advanced pre-professional ballet dancers from all over the greater Houston area.
The performance season includes approximately 6-8 performances, including the annual Fall Showcase, Westchase Nutcracker Festival, and Spring Showcase, as well as community events such as SPA Prelude Performances and Project Dance Houston.
Performances take place throughout greater Houston, regularly including Midtown, Downtown, and Westchase District. Committed to making art accessible, the Youth Company programs 2-3 free events open to the public, and ticketed events start at just $10.

Founded in 2020, the Bayou City Ballet Youth Company provides high quality performance opportunities for advanced ballet students pursuing a professional career in dance. We strongly believe in the power of ballet to change lives. In order to share this beautiful art with our entire community, we program an array of educational programs throughout the greater Houston area each season, including master classes, performances, and workshops, that are accessible to everyone.
The Youth Company also raises funds annually to help defray the costs associated with performance, thereby allowing us to offer need-based financial assistance to its company members.
The Bayou City Ballet Youth Company is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. All donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowable by law.
